Position Overview:
The Clinical Operations Analyst role will amplify the impact of Included Health on the patients and members it serves by enhancing the current and future clinical offerings of the company.  In close collaboration with Clinical leaders and our Data organization, this individual will produce the operational visibility necessary to drive product performance across our Virtual Care, Behavioral Health, and Navigation / Care Management programs.  This position reports to the Director, Clinical Strategy and Operations, within Included Health’s clinical organization.

The ideal candidate has a passion for advocating for data-informed processes and decision-making. You should have a background in analytics, report development, and telling stories with data. You should be able to spot opportunities to solve problems and answer questions with data. You should be comfortable taking ownership and have a desire to proactively collaborate with leadership. You will develop a deep understanding of how our business operates, and identify ways we can improve. This role is an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and own reporting and analyses that support business operations and clinical design
    • Analyze and communicate insights on clinical service quality, outcomes, and efficiency
    • Continuously monitor data and alert leadership and key stakeholders of trends that indicate issues, risks or opportunities for the business (including operational efficiencies, strategic changes, etc.)
    • Provide insights to leadership and key internal stakeholders to improve the clinical operations provided to our members
    • Monitor industry trends and maintain up-to-date expertise on reporting and advise organization and key stakeholders on best practices
    • Create executive level data summary reports and present findings to leadership
    • Meet data and reporting needs to support operational and quality improvement initiatives and monitor success 
    • Collaborate with Product Insights, Client Analytics, Data Science, and other analytics teams  to ensure a consistent use of data objects and approach to data governance
    • Produce data, reports, and/or analysis to support company and program accreditations
    • Design data visualizations and dashboards to allow ongoing monitoring of quality of care and service
    • Analyze information obtained from a variety of sources, conduct and document the thoughtful and sound analyses and evaluation of data, and provide meaningful interpretation of data to a variety of audiences
    • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned

Required Qualifications / Experience

    • BA/BS in in epidemiology, social sciences, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted
    • Experience developing data visualizations in Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI
    • Expertise in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel for data analysis
    • Proficient in SQL with experience in writing complex queries
    • Ability to contextualize and translate complex data analyses based upon the audience
    • Knowledge of statistics or biostatistics and the appropriate application of analytic methods
    • 5+ years expertise in manipulating and analyzing large datasets
    • Ability to organize, delegate, coordinate, consolidate and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks in a team environment
    • Willingness and ability to provide mentoring, coaching, advice, and assistance to employees in a collaborative learning environment
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

    • Experience in analyzing healthcare-related data
    • MA/MS in a related field
    • 1 year of project management experience
    • 1 year of product analytics experience
    • Experience with Python, R, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL
    • Experience with GitHub, Salesforce, AWS, and/or relational databases
$88,900 - $132,250 a year
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:

Zone A: $106,700 - $158,750 + equity + benefits  
Zone B: $88,900 - $132,250 + equity + benefits  

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
