Definitive Logic is currently seeking an experienced Junior Data Engineer. This role focuses specifically on collecting data, interpretation of data for business analysis. Candidates for this position will be able to sift through data, apply statistics, compare data points, and create reports outlining business predictions. The data engineer will provide extensive technical expertise, help businesses make decisions and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. We want innovative problem solvers that are passionate about data and enjoy a challenge.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Collecting data through means such as analyzing business results
- Transferring data into a new format to make it more appropriate for analysis
- Searching through large data sets for usable information
·   Correlating similar data to find actionable results
·   Background developing data solutions and can operate in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
·   Experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, leading ETL technologies and approaches
·  Independent, creative, and determined

Required Qualifications

    • BS Degree
    • Interim Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
    • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with data solutions
    • Strong SQL and data management experience
    • Experience with a modern programming language such as Python
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze and prioritize

Preferred Qualifications

    • Minimum Two (2) years of experience working in an agile development environment
    • Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate with multiple functional groups
    • Ability to display a positive, can-do attitude
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
