Position description

The Digital Analytics Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable insights through analytics. This individual is responsible for planning and executing analytics supporting the web and mobile app initiatives and communicating to various stakeholders. This person reports to the Digital Analytics Manager and collaborates with key stakeholders, leveraging data to identify opportunities to optimize web and mobile properties to meet user and business objectives. This person identifies the data and infrastructure required to generate such analysis as well as gaps in data and infrastructure, and recommends and develops strategies to bridge these gaps. The Digital Analytics Analyst is accountable for technical projects requiring substantial inter and intra-organizational coordination and communication. The Digital Analytics Analyst’s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide full analytics support for web and mobile app platforms developed within a multi-disciplinary work unit. Analyze data from online and offline sources to help inform the strategic direction of web and mobile app properties. Work with product team to define success metrics and KPIs. Develop and execute measurement and analysis plans. Design analytics implementation for data collection and platform integration requirements. Design, analyze and publish daily/weekly/monthly reports. Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in web and mobile app experience through data analysis. Ensure proper analytics implementation and reporting accuracy. Develop quantitative analyses and work with other groups to assess qualitative data resources along with ad-hoc reports to monitor performance and trends. Perform deep-dive analyses and provide interpretation, guidance and strong recommendations to aid decision-making and inform business planning. Prepare, present, or both, findings to leaders. Stay current on web and mobile app analytics, including marketing, ecommerce trends, emerging research, evaluation of market opportunities and user behavior.

This is a full-time remote role; the candidate can work anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or other computer science related degree.
2 years experience with web and/or mobile application analytics tools/technologies such as Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, tag management systems, A/B Testing tools , , Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills as well as demonstrated skills in fact-based analysis using large amount of structured and unstructured data, including the ability to persuasively present insights and recommendations to management. Knowledge of web and/or mobile landscape and technologies required. Must be self-motivated.

Additional qualifications

2 years’ experience with web and/or mobile app analytics tools and analysis preferred
2 years’ conducting highly quantitative analysis preferred Digital Analyst certification Ability to think critically, interpret and understand requirements in order to build web and/or mobile application tracking solutions based on business requirements.
Experience in digital, (mobile and web analytics) data analysis.
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, data visualization and writing macros.
Familiar with and able to analyze app store ratings and reviews.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions in order to analyze data, interpret results and recommend solutions. Strengths in structured and logical thinking, problem solving, issue resolution and attention to data.
SQL experience with a good understanding of data warehouse architecture preferred. Tableau experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities.
Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking ability.
Knowledge of A/B/multivariate testing, knowledge of various data mining techniques to generate business insight preferred.
Project oriented, proactive, self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage effectively multiple projects and changing priorities in extremely fast paced environment and able to deliver superior results within given deadlines.

License or certification

Compensation Detail

Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $3,171.20-$4,439.20 based on a full-time position.
