Who You Are
Brightwheel is seeking an experienced Analytics leader to join the Revenue Operations team. The Director of Analytics will play a critical role in driving our go-to-market strategy and execution, supporting Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, as well as drive our Product, Engineering, and Design analytics to continuously improve our product experience for early educators and parents. Additionally, this person will work closely with our Data Engineering team on building and improving our operational data sets that power our analytics and operational workflows. The Analytics Director will be a proven leader, a critical thinker, and a structured problem solver. Most importantly, the Director will be an expert at delivering value for stakeholders by defining business problems, sourcing the data needed, and then gleaning the key insights required to advance the business goals.

What You’ll Do

    • Lead an Agile, shared-services team of business analysts that delivers daily and weekly value to operators with the standard reporting, insights, and data they need to achieve their respective goals.
    • Empower operators, product managers, and leaders by delivering actionable data and insights with their native tools (e.g. Salesforce) to scale their operations, and enable rapid testing and improvement to workflows.
    • Partner closely with brightwheel leadership to align Analytics priorities and resource allocations with company-level strategy and goals.
    • Partner with the RevOps leaders to set the strategy for and then execute our company-wide business motions to drive continuous improvement through data, insights, and action.
    • Serve as a single point of truth for all data/numbers at brightwheel, from GTM reporting to Product insights to Finance/Board summaries
    • Stand up an agile process to deliver on additional reports/analyses (“double clicks”) as they come up; with the means to evaluate prioritization across the GTM funnel and stakeholders

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities

    • Extensive experience: 6+ years experience in business analytics, business intelligence, FP&A, or other relevant analytic and technical roles; may consist of 3-5 years of analytics experience paired with 2-3 years of consulting or other directly relevant experience; 2+ years of leadership and management experience. 
    • Analytical skills: Ability to distill insights from large quantities of ambiguous data; have the judgement to match the quality/precision and resulting speed/effort to the business use case. Quick to understand the directional outcomes from a limited set of data and set team members on the right path for further investigation.
    • Technical: Familiar with GTM systems, integrations and databases; extensive experience with large, complex data sets and translating from user behavior and system configurations all the way through to reporting and insights. Judgment and experience to know how to structure solutions for creating, managing, and delivering the right data in the right systems in the right format.
    • Strategic: Ability to combine technical wherewithal and an understanding of business goals and needs to set the path for short and long term priorities and tactics to build the systems, data sets, reporting, and process we need to rapidly scale our GTM engine and hit our goals.
    • Leadership: Ability to establish and run a high performance team and function, with an emphasis on matching resourcing alignment to company needs in a dynamic, highly collaborative, and agile manner.
    • Collaboration: Work closely across leadership, GTM functional leads, GTM operational leads (within RevOps)  this role will be highly collaborative with technical and business partners, on long and short cycle work.

Brightwheel offers a competitive compensation package (base salary, equity and benefits) with a strong emphasis on equity-based compensation (ownership in brightwheel). For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In alignment with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual cash compensation for this role in Colorado is targeted at $170-212k. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
