About the Lead Data Analyst, Membership at Headspace:

Headspace is a leading organization that brings mindfulness practice to all members across the globe. We are seeking a rockstar membership analyst who will be based in Los Angeles, to dedicate to growing the Headspace member base. The short-term focus will be business performance tracking, pricing analyses, best engagement indicators, and formulation of actionable recommendations based on these to enable fast learning experimentation. Long-term strategic projects will include developing recommendations on user pathway exploration, pricing, retention causal inference, and customer segmentation.

Location: This role is open to remote employees in select US states: California, New York, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Maryland + Washington DC, North Carolina, and Washington. 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

    • Deep understanding of subscription metrics, and be efficient in extracting data for strategic collaboration 
    • Expert knowledge of user segmentation, and preferable consumer insights experience
    • Proactive trend analyses to surface underlying insights and bring forth early strategic discussions
    • Familiar with Marketing optimization and Acquisition channels
    • Help to craft an ongoing experimentation program, including hypothesis formulation, experimental design, significance-setting, and post-experiment analysis
    • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to tell a story with data and to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
    • Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information
    • Ability to lead open conversations with senior management, collaborate/lead projects from conception to execution and optimization stage
    • Passionate about Headspace’s mission to make the world a healthier and happier place

What you’ve accomplished:

    • 8+ years of experience with SQL/Tableau/Microsoft Office Suite
    • 6+ years of experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.
    • 4+ years of experience with Python
    • 6+ years of experience with creating and analyzing complex AB testings and hypothesis development
    • 6+ years of experience with pricing, conjoint analysis, causal inference, stats modeling, sensitivity analysis
