Mindoula is looking to add an innovative Lead Data Engineer (100% Remote) to join our team and support our fast-growing organization. In this position, you will lead innovation through exploration, benchmarking, making recommendations, and implementing big data technologies for platforms.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the data team, collaborate with product and engineering teams in developing the data required to support the functionality and new features of our platforms.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to develop the data structures required to train and deploy predictive models.
  • Manage ingestion process of various input data sources (healthcare data, medical claims, pharmacy claims, etc.) and develop/maintain the common schema to store healthcare information of members.
  • Manage tools and processes to transform the data to derive key insights and analytics to power the intelligence of our platform.
  • Design and implement the data solutions using suitable data technologies and tools.
  • Lead and mentor the team of engineers to maintain the technology stack and appropriate quality standards while also being hands-on developer working along with other developers on the team.
  • Must be self-driven and a quick learner.
  • Requires strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Healthcare data experience (medical/pharmacy claims) is a plus.

What will make you successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical fields
  • 3+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience (Python, SQL, Spark) is required
  • Experience with Databricks preferred
  • Medical / Pharmacy claims data experience preferred
  • Motivated self-starter that thrives on innovation and technology
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
