Help us build that data lakehouse you dream about! Looking for a highly talented product manager with a passion for all things data. Partnering with a team of world class engineers, this person will be responsible for building a centralized data platform that will accelerate the speed at which DISQO people and products are able to gain insights and deliver value. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Marketing Teams, SecOps, and Software engineers you will build the strategies and the roadmaps that not only create and impact today but are sure to propel DISQO’s data game into the future.

What you will do:

    • Work with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams to establish the vision for DISQO’s data platform
    • Build the data platform which consists of data engineering pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, data quality, discovery, governance and self-service analytics
    • Spearhead the evangelization of your data products and capabilities across the organization
    • Work cross functionally to break down complex problems into clear technical and data requirements  which can be used to drive product development efforts that result in measurable business outcomes
    • Promote and develop data best practices, guidelines, procedures and repeatable, agile and scalable frameworks
    • Understand what data differentiates DISQO and find creative ways to use it to power our products and choices
    • Efficiently execute to ship products and deliver impact with our data engineers, solving technical and operational problems as they relate to product development.
    • Identify and implement solutions which help ensure quality and observability is maintained as DISQO continues to scale our products and member base
    • Manage the Data Platform team’s product backlog by prioritizing work and creating focus on what matters.
    • Communicate concisely with engineering and product leadership, and influence our technical strategy.
    • Mentor and coach a team of product managers resulting in a culture that fosters learning, innovation, and outcomes

What you bring to the table:

    • 7+ years of experience in technology product management. Ideally Should have a strong blend of program management and software engineering background.
    • 3 years of product management experience in the data analysis space (e.g., databases, SQL engines, data lakes, etc.)
    • Strong understanding of technical architecture and data infrastructure principles as it relates to data engineering, ETL and data lake and data warehouses
    • Understanding of AWS’s data services
    • A great attitude, collaborative spirit and openness to giving and receiving feedback
    • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, or external factors
    • Experience defining requirements, methods of measurement, and product launch activities
    • Successful history of building products and capabilities
    • Experience in privacy regulations and identity management a plus
    • Experience in Martech/Adtech a plus
