We’ve built the first identity-based platform that combines consumer attitudes and behaviors together to power the most accurate and predictive insights solutions for our customers, and we do all of that with the willing participation of our consumers and without using outdated technologies like third-party cookies. Our mission at DISQO is to engage people to share their opinions and behaviors openly to help our customers make the right decisions. With over one million active members sharing their attitudes and behaviors, DISQO is looking to expand, improve and create world-class applications for people to openly share their data for research.

Who We’re Looking For:
DISQO seeks a Senior Facebook Ads Expert to help us attract and deepen engagement with consumer audiences for our panel. This position requires a data-driven, analytical and creatively-strategic mindset with strong platform-specific knowledge in Facebook. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary.

This role centers around developing new growth ideas and utilizing systems/technology to continuously analyze and improve performance. A high level of expertise is expected, along with being able to effectively communicate performance towards key KPI’s and provide impactful insights from data. If you use quantitative thinking + qualitative creativity, we’d love to talk to you.

What you will do:

    • Own and lead the Facebook ads strategy and tactical planning/buying across all campaigns to consistently optimize performance
    • Be a department leader by driving innovative and growth-focused Facebook campaign strategies; lead the day-to-day on-going management of campaign implementation
    • Be relentlessly creative in solving problems - when a formal solution might take weeks, your growth hacker instincts kick in, and you come up with an alternative method that you can execute on your own
    • Manage and leverage each campaign’s risk and loss pool for ongoing testing and experimentation
    • Define the standard methodologies for audience extension campaigns
    • Develop a data-driven testing roadmap across messaging, creative, audience, and frequency; guide the creative team and assist with building the creative assets needed to determine highest-performing creative and ad copy
    • Maintain the highest level of knowledge and understanding of Facebook's ad ecosystem by staying informed of the latest changes in the ad auction, ad formats, campaign objectives, and bid strategies
    • Compile daily, weekly, monthly, and lifetime report with key performance metrics (KPI's) to quantify results and communicate findings and insights within the team
    • Support  with Quality Assurance (QA)/User Acceptance Testing (UAT) operations and enhancement of our proprietary internal database, optimization algorithms, and automation workflows
    • Conduct data analysis, prepare analytical reports, conduct competitive research, and build upon current/future strategies to evolve tactics and continually improve performance
    • Continually tweak and optimize campaign creative, copy, audiences, and buying tactics to create the best possible outcomes
    • Troubleshoot technical assets such as FB pixels, offline data sets and more
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to support key product launches and promotions throughout the calendar year, ensuring consistent messaging across all initiatives
    • Continuously learn and experiment with new effective bidding, ad placement, and management techniques
    • Lead the team in identifying optimization opportunities and help develop the tools, efficiencies and processes needed to excel

What you bring to the table:

    • At least 5 years of experience in running digital ad campaigns, with a focus on Facebook ads, especially in regards to performance and RoAS.
    • In-depth knowledge of ad fundamentals e.g. reach, frequency, formats, measurement etc. and how they can translate to business metrics.
    • The ability to think both quantitatively and qualitatively. You’re good with numbers and can analyze data (knowledge of Python a plus) but also come up with creative campaigns that think outside the box. You’ll intuitively know when to rely on data and when there might be shortcomings due to low sample size or a systematic error.
    • Ability to build sophisticated SQL queries that include complex JOINs and CTEs
    • Consistent track record handling high campaign volume, large budgets, complex strategies across multiple channels and driving quantifiable results
    • Work under pressure and with short deadlines across multiple teams with fragmented, vertical priorities
    • Ability to spot problems before they arise, and constantly looking for ways to improve ways of working. You’re also not shy about making these initiatives known.
    • Articulate complex technology-related issues and educating ranges of audiences
    • Use your knowledge of the platforms and relationships with the partners to ensure we are fully using their capabilities and recommend strategies and solutions which best meet our business needs
    • Plan, launch, and execute campaigns to drive new user acquisition
    • Produce and present campaign performance reports to a cross-functional teams
    • Stay informed of digital marketing trends and best practices to help contribute innovative and effective ideas to the team
    • The ability to develop creative assets on-the-fly as needed to optimize campaign performance
    • You want to have an impact and are passionate about the work you do
    • You are always looking to adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for  campaign strategies
    • You thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, collaborative, high-energy environment where you’re continuously solving problems creatively and analytically
