This position is highly visible. You will present solutions to the executive team, influence our product roadmap, and shape the future of the market research space.   

We are looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join our Data Science and Analytics team to innovate and build data products. You will be heavily involved in survey matching optimization algorithms, user anomaly detection, identity fraud prevention, recommendation engine. The only obstacle we have is time, DISQO is a gold mine for a data scientist. Data Scientists at DISQO lead our efforts in developing scalable solutions to offer quality data to consumers and building innovative products.

What you will do:

    • You will join a team of data scientists and data analysts to work on data quality, fraud detection, recommendation engine, ad measurement, causal inference, reinforcement learning to understand consumer needs based on our users behavior and attitudinal responses.
    •  You will work using the latest technology, having access to a large volume of data in a data centric company. As a data scientist you will collaborate with product, finance, and marketing teams, partner closely with and support product managers to surface data trends, identify impactful problems, and develop solutions, discover data anomalies, communicate clearly your findings to other departments, educate stakeholders on data and its predictive power. 
    • Sr. Data Scientist will establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development and model implementation, manage and execute projects from start to finish including data gathering and manipulation, project management, modeling, problem solving, communication of insights and recommendations. 
    • Disambiguate problems and develop new metrics to track and identify success

What you bring to the table:

    • PhD or Master in Computer Science, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Computational Biology, Econometrics 
    • Practical data science experience with a deep technical background in supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods, +4 years of work experience
    • Strong communicator - able to advocate data informed decision-making at all levels
    • Strong analytical capabilities to translate business problems into data science problems and implemented solutions
    • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, AWS Athena, Hadoop, Redshift
    • Mentored junior data scientists, led projects to the finishing line
    • Expertise in SQL and programming in Python or R
    • Strong mathematical background or computer science. 
    • Advanced ability to perform exploratory data analysis
    • Expert in Statistical Studies
    • Data visualization with Python, R. Exposure to BI Solutions like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI
