DISQO is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to join our Ad Measurement team. You will help us define and build our next generation of Ad Measurement products based on insights and market research using DISQO’s unique behavioral data. If you have a passion for data science, a background on ad tech/measurement and have a product & growth mindset we would love to talk to you. This position is highly visible. You will present solutions to the executive team, influence our product roadmap, and shape the future of market research space. 

You will also be part of the DISQO Data Science team. We are a high-performance team looking for others to challenge us to become even better. We are equal partners collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing teams to define and shape DISQO products and infuse them with Data Science capabilities at the consumer and enterprise side. We are looking for people with a growth mindset, data curiosity, who are comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty and have the eagerness to be agile, creative to redefine the market research space.

What you will do:

    • Build DISQO’s next generation Ad Measurement platform
    • Act as the Data Science Subject Matter Expert for everything Ad Measurement
    • Collaborate with engineering, data analyst and product teams to understand customer needs, analyze ad campaign performance and clearly communicate findings and insights based on DISQO’s unique data set to help shape DISQO’s ad-measurement products

What you bring to the table:

    • PhD or Master in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics 
    • Experience in the Ad Measurement and/or Market Research space and hands on experience and understanding of causal inference, control group creation & counterfactuals, brand & ad lift measurement and survey weights
    • Experience with statistical and propensity modeling
    • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, AWS Athena, Hadoop, Redshift
    • Expertise in programming in Python or R, fluency in SQL and proficiency in using Jupyter notebooks 
    • Strong communicator - able to advocate data informed decision-making at all levels
    • Strong analytical capabilities to translate business problems into Data Science problem formulations
    • Familiarity with A/B testing and evaluation methodologies
    • Prior experience with media analytics; digital, linear TV, or connected TV advertising is a strong plus
