Do you have a passion for using data to enable the growth and success of an organization? Health IQ is searching for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The role is dedicated to a detailed analysis of data and performing business processes that impact our operations and sales business. 

The Business Analyst will utilize expertise to conduct complex research, business and system analysis, audit control analysis, and other general financial and operational activities. Including the capacity to organize the results into a comprehensive report that can be communicated effectively to functional teams and external partners.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Develop an understanding of, and analyze, business processes (internal and external) and identify methods to improve operational efficiencies or reduce risk
  • Work closely with Product, Technology, Sales, Compliance, and Operations on process improvement and new product initiatives and implementation
  • Liaise closely with programmers during the development cycle to ensure clarity of requirements and proper design of software to meet business and client requirements
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Develop accurate, clear and concise business requirements related to the analysis of new or enhanced products
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or in any technical field that provides a solid basis for business, technology, and analytics 
  • 2+ years’ experience as a business or technical analyst, consultant, or other related work experience required
  • Experience using SQL, Periscope, PowerBI, Proficient, Tableau and data visualization
  • Strong Excel skills required including extensive use of V lookups, pivot tables, and other advanced functions
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in working with stakeholders
  • Strong prioritization skills, while being dynamic and agile
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work well independently with minimal supervision and can manage multiple priorities
  • Flexible in a dynamically changing environment

  Experience using SQL statement, make SQL requires and one of Periscope, PowerBI, Proficient, or Tableau
