As part of Health IQ’s Digital team, the Senior Data Scientist will join the core development team designing the machine learning algorithm that powers our health needs prediction engine. We are looking for experts in predictive modeling and machine learning, who are focused on practical implementations with real-world impact. An ideal candidate is able to quickly iterate on the problem and ship to production on a regular basis.

What you will be doing:

• Implementing and optimizing machine learning models
• Solving mission critical data data science problems from conception to production
• Implementing holistic solution design including automated data cleaning, feature engineering and scalable database structures

Who we're looking for:

• Expertise in statistics and data analysis techniques like Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression, Random Forest and Neural Networks
• Demonstrated history of solving data science problems from conception to production
• Expertise in SQL and Python including libraries like Spacy, Pandas, Scikit, Pytorch and Keras (with Tensorflow)
• Experience in holistic solution design including automated data cleaning, feature engineering and scalable database structures

The Ideal Candidate will also have:

• Prior experience with startups
• Prior experience of development in a regulated environment e.g. healthcare, finance, insurance, legal.
• Prior experience leading teams
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, or related technical field, required; advanced degree preferred
