Position Summary

The Care Management Analytics (Care Mgmt Analytics) Senior Analyst will have the ability to tell a data driven story of value by developing new analytic tools for evaluation and visualization as it relates to program value evaluation, identifying opportunities, contractual reporting needs, issue resolution, capabilities, and stabilization. The Senior Analyst will be a part of a growing team to support various care management analytic activities as an individual contributor.

  • Use a consultative approach when providing recommendations and solutions to drive successful outcomes and build a data driven story of value, engage with internal and external stakeholders to obtain a true understanding of requirements to support both business decision making and client requests
  • Analyze, interpret, understand, and/or triage complex data and reporting requests
  • Execute and conduct reporting and data issue resolution and root cause analysis of contractual data/reporting commitments to demonstrate program value
  • Partner and engage with internal and external stakeholders to obtain a true understanding of the data/reporting needs by using a consultative approach when providing recommendations and solutions to drive successful outcomes for the business and build a data driven story of value
  • Recommend, design, and develop tools that support reporting needs and demonstrate program value including dashboards, reports, and templates including short/long term data and reporting fixes
  • Other responsibilities that may arise related to servicing data requests for our care management clients

Must be able to travel up to 10%. Travel may require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 plus years Healthcare data analytics experience
  • 2 plus years SQL experience or other relative programming experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience with data analytics, spreadsheets, and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Data analytics experience – Statistics, SQL, Python, R experience is a plus
  • Experience with working with designing KPIs is preferred
  • Solid understanding of study design to advise analytic decisions to assess program value
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered

Education

Required: Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Epidemiology or other programming and data related fields of study or equivalent experience

Preferred: Master’s Degree with concentration in Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, Epidemiology or other programming and data related fields of study

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 – $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
