We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Client Analytics team to help us quantify and communicate Included Health’s value to our clients. The Client Analytics team partners with our Data and Go To Market organizations to deliver dashboards, reporting packages, and ad-hoc analysis to support retention and growth of our clients. Client Analytics sits with the Engineering, Product, Design, and Data organization.

The ideal candidate is mission driven and looking for a chance to continue developing a wide range of analytic skills while tackling new, unanticipated challenges. Regardless of your background, you have experience manipulating and analyzing data and are interested in growing your skills in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a strong technical background, analytical ability, a strategic mindset, effective communication, and comfort working with ambiguity. 

Some examples of things you might work on:

    • Developing reporting packages to support our business review meetings with clients
    • Diving deep into our data platform to answer client centric performance and value questions
    • Scaling our reporting products through automation and dashboarding projects
    • Partnering across the Data Insights team and Engineering, Product, Design, and Data organization to support cross functional efforts like ensuring new product features and underlying data are incorporated into data pipelines and reporting workflows

    • We predominantly use SQL, Python, Looker, and Google Workspace tools to complete and share our work. We primarily use Jira, Confluence, Github, and Slack for communicating, collaborating, and managing our work and documentation.

Responsibilities:

    • Engage with and serve as a collaborative partner to the Client Success team and other Go To Market functions to meet client reporting needs demonstrating the value of our services
    • Translate findings of complex analyses into actionable recommendations for clients; Support our Client Success team in delivering those results during live client meetings
    • Resolve key data blockers that may limit the ability to deliver on analytic requests
    • Develop robust, efficient, and integrated data models and dashboards
    • Occasional travel to client sites for business review meetings and company offices for strategy and team building meetings

Skills & Abilities you’ll need to execute effectively:

    • Expert proficiency in SQL
    • You write clean and efficient code
    • You review team member’s code with high attention to detail and a critical eye
    • Experience building dashboards or models to present results to business partners
    • Exposure to Python for data analysis or automation
    • Intermediate proficiency using a data visualization tool (Looker preferred) to publish interactive dashboards for internal partners and external clients
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects
    • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new analytical approaches
    • Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate to and build trust with peers, clients, and other key internal and external stakeholders
    • Comfort with ambiguity and defining an approach to a given question or problem

Education & Experience that will set you up for success in this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in a role focused on data analysis and delivery
    • Experience working with various types of raw data including (but not limited to) medical/Rx claims data, eligibility data, and survey data
    • Knowledge of the employer-sponsored health space and/or working with health plans serving commercial populations is a plus but not required
    • Experience creating thoughtful analyses leveraging complex data and presenting the results to clients and other key stakeholders
    • Experience automating the generation of complex deliverables
