We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to join our team and lead our data analysis and automation efforts.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying and building data sources, dashboards, ensuring data quality, and running analysis on various data sets to support decision making and analysis. The candidate will have proficiency with data modeling, SQL, and BI tools.

The candidate will possess strong technical and interpersonal skills and be willing to join a fast-paced, high-profile business area.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Strategy and Analysis:
– Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy to effectively collect, store, and analyze large and complex data sets.
– Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will support decision making and improve business processes.

2. Data Source Identification and Building:
– Identify and evaluate potential data sources to support the analysis and reporting needs of the organization.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external data providers to ensure a consistent and reliable flow of data.

3. Dashboard Development and Visualization:
– Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards to effectively present data insights to stakeholders.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure dashboards meet the needs of various business units.

4. Data Quality Assurance:
– Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data throughout the analysis process.
– Identify and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner, working closely with IT and data engineering teams.

5. Automation and Process Improvement:
– Drive automation initiatives to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, reducing manual efforts and increasing efficiency.
– Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.

6. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
– Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance and support in data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business intelligence, and data science, to leverage expertise and facilitate knowledge sharing.- 7+ years of experience performing data analysis and data exploration, preferably within an Information Technology setting
– 7+ years of experience designing and developing IT reports and dashboards
– 7+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerBI or similar BI tools (Tableau, SAP, SAS, etc.)
– Proficient in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and visualization using programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.).
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business personnel- Experience with ServiceNow; Incident, Problem, and Availability
– Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practicesBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$120,750.00 – $240,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
