JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Management will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives by partnering across business units, enterprise technology teams, and product/platform teams to define and implement the strategy, usability, and governance of data across the organization.


 Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Lead Strategy Management by collaborating with IT/product teams, InfoSec, Risk, Privacy, Legal, Compliance to drive strategy, architecture and governance on platform modernization and data transformation initiatives.  Leads multi-functional data strategy discussions, develop roadmaps in conjunction with other teams and across a highly matrixed organization, resulting in impactful value and scalable plans to support the business
Creates and develops the business use cases demonstrating analytical skills, segmentation techniques, data intelligence, internal and external sources to define data solutions
Collaborates with technology teams to incorporate data architecture principles to increase consistency and interoperability of data across the enterprise
Drives Data transformation initiatives focusing on: (1) Strategic roadmap, (2) Value driven outcomes, and (3) Data Literacy
Ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to the data quality. Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
Perform gap analysis by identifying and assessing data points across internal/external systems for critical data elements based on metadata definitions, policies, and standards of practice
Understands data management and data governance practices including data stewards, data custodians, data lineage, data quality, data cleansing, metadata management, etc.
Understands privacy regulations on the collection and use of customer data (such a GDPR, CDPA and CCPA) and how this impacts customer data management
Understands Data Governance challenges and standard methodologies for data cataloging, data quality, and data controls
Inspires and engages teams, offering an environment of learning and career development while supporting individual and team goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level 
Required/Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field or equivalent experience – Preferred
  • Advanced degree - Preferred
     

Experience
Required/Preferred

  • Typically 10+ years
    • Experience in data analysis or computer programming
    • Experience working with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines in database warehousing and other relevant systems.
  • Typically 6+ years
    • Leadership experience in distributed, matrixed environment
    • Experience working with domain structures; conceptual, logic and physical.
       

Licenses/Certifications 
Required/Preferred

Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBATM) - Preferred

KSAs

Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers, and management.
Good skills in data administration, design, and architecture.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Travel Requirements Brief Description

Minimal


 The salary range for this role is $112,700 to $222,240. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
