Job Description
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst – Specialty Ops Reporting Insights and Strategy will assist in the development and implementation of various analytical efforts that are focused on improving the end-to-end reporting solution of our Specialty Operations business partners. This role needs to be highly driven and passionate in providing key insights and metrics to enable business decisions that impact performance and customer experiences.

The Senior Analyst must be highly skilled at extracting insights from data and translating them into specific actions to advance key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Analyst – Specialty Ops Reporting Insights and Strategy you will:
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to establish new reporting assets and/or to conduct detailed reviews to resolve systemic issues and/or improve our customer experiences
• Proactively identify operational and program issues, facilitate recommendations, and ensure appropriate escalation and decisions from Senior Leadership
• Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry
• Solve the complex business problems using all the modern tools and technologies
• Routinely lead ad-hoc investigations and/or initiatives on behalf of senior leadership
• Collaborates with Specialty Operations business partners to understand their problems and goals, and key insights and reporting that enable informed business decisions
• Develops and participates in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on analytics results and solutions
• Routinely monitors data tools to extract key insights that can facilitate improvements in our customer’s reporting experience and decision making
• Partner with business leaders across Specialty Operations to create necessary alignments and to advance key priorities at the pace and quality standards necessary
• Analyze complex data for trends, highlights in-depth interpretations and provides in-depth root cause analysis
• Define, identify, develop, and implement information products to support strategic business and operational planning
• Illustrate complex information in a clear concise manner
• Develop and conducts presentations and provides consultation to internal business areas

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 100,000

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, analytics, process improvement or consulting, with demonstrated business impact.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, heat maps, complex calculations and references)
• Adept at manipulating data and conducting complex analytics, and building operations process flows.

Preferred Qualifications
• 5% travel required. (once every quarter)
• Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners
• 2+ years of experience in CVS Health Specialty Operations
• 1+ years of experience in SQL
• Intermediate analytics skills (utilize tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc. to manipulate and extract data/insights; not necessarily to develop tools within this software)
• Proficiency in all MS Office tools, advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Six Sigma experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
