LivePerson is looking for a top talented and passionate Big Data Engineer that wants to work on complex and diverse DB and Data technologies in dynamic environments.

The successful candidate has an opportunity to join a highly outstanding team within a fast-paced and successful organization.

In This Role You Will

• Work with the latest and most advanced data technologies including Relational/NoSQL databases and real-time data messaging and processing
• Experience real HA architecture and take part in our effort to enhance scalability and resiliency in a very demanding environment
• Responsible for uptime, stability, redundancy, capacity, optimization, tuning, automation and visibility of our database technologies
• Design, plan and implement data topologies according to business and professional requirements
• Administrate, provision and operate hundreds of database instances
• Be an integral part of our engineering team (R&D)
• Research, present and communicate new data technological features

You Should Be An Expert In

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Relational/NoSQL technologies
• 3+ hands-on Cassandra/Kafka/Storm/KafkaStreams
• Strong Linux, Shell/Python scripting and DevOps orientation
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery methodologies
• DB Performance Tuning and Optimization
• Familiar with Configuration management/Automation such as Puppet/Ansible
• Advantage - Experienced with Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and K8s
• Proven technical skills and self-learning ability
• Proactive, highly motivated individual with a serious work ethic and goal-oriented approach
