Staff Analyst - Analytic Consulting

Staff Analyst - Analytic Consulting

This job is no longer open
We have an opening for a very experienced analyst on our Analytic Consulting team who will help us communicate Included Health’s value to clients through insightful reporting and analysis. Our Analyst career progression at Included Health is Associate Analyst → Analyst → Senior Analyst → Lead Analyst → Staff Analyst → Senior Staff Analyst.  This current opening is a staff role on the team, where in addition to being an excellent individually contributing analyst capable of partnering with our most complex clients, you’ll also be expected to act as a thought leader, establishing and enforcing best practices within the Analytic Consulting and the broader Analytics & Actuarial teams as well as driving collaboration efforts across Included Health.

There is no one ideal candidate profile for this role; key traits you’ll need to succeed on this team include curiosity, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills in addition to being a strong data analyst. You might have a benefits or management consulting background, experience in pharma, provider, or carrier organizations, or have worked in a public health setting. Regardless of your background, you have deep experience analyzing healthcare-related data.

In this role you’ll dig into multiple different types of data like claims, eligibility, and product utilization and think strategically about how we can best communicate the value we’re delivering for specific client populations. In order to be effective in this role, you will need to develop a deep understanding of our products and services, the markets we serve and their distinct needs, and new custom analytics to demonstrate the impact and value of our products when specific client/prospect data may be limited.

We predominantly use SQL, Python, Looker, and Google Workspace tools to complete and share our work. We primarily use Jira, Confluence, Github, and Slack for communicating, collaborating, and managing our work and documentation.

We are a distributed team, but if you are local to San Francisco, Reno, or Lewiston you’ll have the opportunity to use one of our offices. To learn more about the solutions Included Health offers, take a look at this page on our website.
