This is a full time, hybrid position.

Position Summary

The Trade Finance Data Analyst is part of a small team that is responsible for design, implementation, and support of the trade finance data model.  This role will be assisting with data migration, quality control and governance activities.  You will play a crucial role in designing and building of a centralized data mart by combining several existing data sources.  This allows the opportunity to support and work alongside the Commercial, Medicare Part D, Specialty, and ZINC Health Services Trade Relations teams.

Key role aspects include:

  • Analyze, interpret, understand, and/or triage complex data and reporting requests
  • Conduct data quality review and issue root cause analysis and resolution
  • Design, test, implement and maintain ETL procedures, that support large volumes of data.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences to ensure strong data quality
  • Supporting Management in the development and maintenance of ad-hoc reporting and analysis
  • Providing analytic support to the Trade Relations, Underwriting Analytics, and Formulary departments
  • The candidate should have a strong passion for data integrity with an eye for detail, but also be in tune with the big picture.
  • Maintaining various Industry Analysis data and data sources
  • Automation of existing processes to drive analytic quality and efficiencies

This individual will interact with various departments, members of management, and internal stakeholders.  A small amount of travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 months+ experience in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries
  • 6 months+ experience working with multiple RDBMS database platforms such as Oracle, Teradata, and DB2
  • 1+ years’ in MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the PBM, Pharmacy, or Healthcare industry
  • 1+ years’ experience working with ETL tools and Data Languages. (I.e. Python, SAS, R, VBA, Alteryx, SSIS )
  • 1+ years’ Advanced SQL techniques and Functions
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau development
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks, projects and deadlines
  • Experience with organizing, visualizing, presenting, and migrating large data sets.
  • Experience in financial modeling, underwriting or analytics
  • Excellent analytic skills
  • Ability to dissect large data sets
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good communications skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

A bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytic field is preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$40,600.00 – $87,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
