McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational materials is looking for anAcademic Data Analyst for our K-12 School division to uncover causes and challenges related to student achievement gaps in grades K-12. This individual plays a pivotal role in providing data and informing various internal and external stakeholders to improve student success rates. This position can sit out of our Columbus, OH or be filled as a remote position.

What can you expect from the position?

• Support relationships with district decision-makers through meaningful and actionable student data presentations.

• Conduct on-going reviews and updates of district data presentations and documents with input from sales team and customers to improve success rates.

• Provide the sales organization with student data and information regarding the role of student data analytics in supporting sales.

• Train the sales team to understand student data analysis and its relationship to meaningful customer interactions.

• Serve as a resource regarding state education standards, statewide assessments, community demographics, and data sources that can be used to influence sales and customer relationships.

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

• Experience with student data analysis in K-12 education (required).

• Comfortability with presenting to large audiences (internal sales teams and customers).

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word programs.

Even better to have the following (preferred):

• Classroom teaching experience or school district administration experience.

• Experience in Ed Tech sales.

• Experience using Salesforce, MDR, or online presentation tools.
