The DNC Coordinated Campaign is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Analytics team. This role supports and guides database development, maintenance, and optimization, and supports the analytics team with automation and other engineering tasks. This person will work collaboratively with the Tech and Analytics teams to implement and execute the program in support of Democrats across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines from multiple data sources
- Help ensure database reliability, security, and performance. Help analysts and other users optimize code
- Serve as point of contact between tech and analytics team, communicating timelines and deliverables
- Assist and advise analytics team in data acquisition and processing, including web scraping and ETL
- Other analysis-specific engineering tasks in support of the analytics team
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience as a data engineer, engineering-focused analyst, or database administrator
- 1-2+ years using SQL, Python, and other scripting languages professionally
- AWS experience
- Experience deploying data pipelines
- A desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and implement creative solutions to unique problems.
- Experience volunteering or working on a political campaign data team or with the Voter File preferred but not required.
