The DNC Coordinated Campaign is hiring a Community Team member to join our community support team to ensure we are providing help, training, support and best practices for the Democratic campaigns that use the DNC's technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer questions from users (campaign and state party staff) about our tools, products and datasets, via a customer support queue (Zendesk)
- Be a partner to our community of users, gathering feedback and identifying common problems that we can solve through automation or iteration
- Partner with our product team on communication and rollout of new features and datasets for our data warehouse.
- Regularly share key customer insights and trends with the entire DNC tech team
- Collaborate with other DNC departments to develop and share curriculum to train new users of our tools and technologies
- Build collaborative relationships with data staff across the country
- Monitor our progress to ensure we are responding to queries quickly, including reporting on responsiveness, efficacy, and process improvements.
- Offer support to administrative and voter file-related questions
- Represent political data and technology on the front lines. This team is responsible for facilitating a profound feedback loop between us and our community, in addition to ensuring our tools and products are well documented and utilized
You may have previous experience...
- as a community or customer support or customer service team member
- in problem solving or troubleshooting roles
- in high pressure environments
- building trusting relationships with customers or users
- working with data to understand trends or build reports
You may also have experience or fluency with the following tools and languages...
- Zendesk or similar customer service tools
- VoteBuilder/NGPVAN tools
- SQL, or any other language efficient for analyzing large datasets
- Jira, or similar project tracking tools
- Tableau, d3, Shiny, or other data visualization languages or platforms
