The Democratic National Committee’s Tech team is hiring a Grassroots Fundraising Analytics Associate to support our fundraising program and help elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2020.
The Grassroots Fundraising Analytics Associate will support the Battleground States Analytics Associate, and work in close partnership with teams across the DNC, including Mobilization, Compliance, and Finance. They will support the creation of systems to manage finance data flows, track revenue across sources, report on program performance, and support ongoing optimization.

The Tech team is a small, diverse team that develops and supports technology used by candidates and organizers in all 50 states and all 3,413 counties across the United States to analyze data, organize campaigns, raise money, and get out the vote on election day.

Who you are:
We're focused on building a team that will help candidates and campaigns around the country win in November, and are looking for a Grassroots Fundraising Analytics Associate to support critical fundraising efforts for the 2020 election.
Core responsibilities of this role will include:
- Data Flows & Pipelines: Manage finance data synced from multiple platforms, create data structures that aggregate and standardize fundraising data for analysis and reporting
- Reporting: Build and maintain daily reporting on revenue by stream
- Targeting: Support optimization of fundraising efforts based on incoming data to improve donor targeting across mediums
You might be right for this role if you:
- Have experience working with data to elect Democratic candidates; experience with fundraising data, including tools like NGP or Actblue, is a plus!
- Feel comfortable with one or more of the following: SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, and/or data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Periscope, Google Data Studio)
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Are curious, collaborative, and humble – ready to work with a diverse, distributed team to solve interesting problems together
- Are committed to working long hours and/or weekends toward the goal of electing Democrats
This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States. This is an election cycle position, ending in November 2020.
