As a Business Analyst for the Analytics Engineering squad, you will be responsible for working with our wide range of stakeholders to understand their needs and translating those needs into actionable data work for our team.  Additional responsibilities include helping keep our backlog organized and up to date as well as reviewing the final work with a business lens before releasing to Production.  You will help ensure alignment between product development and data across many business domains.  Our team is focused on centralizing, organizing and curating data for business and application consumption. What You'll Do:

• Partner across multiple Business teams and become an expert in their needs
• Work cross functionally to help deploy reliable business solutions 
• Conduct & perform requirements analysis and determine customer operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
• Perform data discovery and create roadmaps for solution implementation within Jira 
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to provide strategic data needed to drive our business forward 
• Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
• Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation

What You Have:

• Previous experience with business intelligence & data analyst in a public company
• Comfortability writing SQL and working with large data sets
• Previous experience with project management within Jira 
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the ever-changing work priorities and requirements as we are a fast growing company 
• An effective communicator, having worked with both business and technically teams at different levels
• Ability to write business deliverables- including user stories- with minimal direction
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Ability to think strategically and analytically
• Worked with data warehouse and analytics tools like snowflake, tableau, and periscope
