Are you passionate about data?  The Marketing team at ezCater serves hundreds of thousands of professionals feeding their teams with our platform - with data at the heart of decision making and strategic growth. We are looking for an ambitious, data-focused brand marketer to join our team. Our Marketing & Advertising Analysts are critical to understanding what motivates customer behavior across channels and platforms at every stage of their journey.

The Brand Marketing Analyst will be at the center of our efforts to grow our user base and understand business impacts across upper funnel marketing channels. This role will be responsible for measuring the effectiveness of and outcomes from our brand awareness campaigns (CTV, Radio, YouTube, OOH, etc.) This role reports to the Manager of Marketing Analytics and is directly connected to Marketing: you will work alongside the VP and Directors of Brand Marketing to support business strategy and data needs and be responsible for delivering insights that drive, optimize and grow ezCater’s brand awareness. In addition to direct responsibility for brand marketing analytics, this role is expected to contribute to our broader analytics team and company data culture by sharing learnings, partnering with others, and building new capabilities for transformational data driven decision-making.

The perfect candidate will bring experience in measuring brand awareness marketing combined with a love of data and strong desire to make a significant impact on our business and core goals.

What You'll Do:

    • Use regression modeling, causal impact analysis and other statistical modeling to measure the performance of marketing campaigns on leading (e.g. Brand Awareness) and lagging indicator (Engagement & Financial) success metrics
    • Partner with Marketing and Finance teams to frame results within corporate marginal investment frameworks.  Optimize audience, program and strategy to meet short and long term business objectives 
    • Deliver data and analyses to stakeholders across the Marketing department that lead to actionable insights to support and drive both strategic and tactical decision making
    • Create and evolve channel performance reporting capabilities to support Marketing team and broader organization by providing access and transparency to critical data
    • Align and interpret data from multiple sources including our internal warehouse (Snowflake), external agencies and technical marketing partners
    • Assist and guide market research on current customer segments and ongoing external market trends

What You Have:

    • 4-6 years’ experience in brand awareness marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, agency, and/or strategy roles with a heavy analytical emphasis
    • Proven experience working with and measuring the effectiveness/incremental impacts of varied brand awareness media campaigns; with experience leveraging complex audience-based targeting
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data sets and identify key findings and next steps based on those insights
    • Excellent critical thinking and stakeholder management skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners
    • Fluency in SQL and Excel required. R, Python, or other statistical programming languages a plus
    • Experience aligning and operating across multiple attribution modeling methods (e.g. multi-touch and Marketing Mix Modeling) 
    • Experience with DataRobot or other AutoML tools is preferred
    • Experience with Tableau is a plus
    • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
    • A history of successfully working with cross-functional teams to deliver results
    • A sharp mind, a soft heart and a large funny bone
Starting Salary: $79,000 - $99,000
