Bitly is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead our Data Analysis team in harnessing the power of data analytics and advanced technologies to drive strategic initiatives and improve decision-making across the organization.

As the BI Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our data-driven strategy, overseeing a team of Data Analysts, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive actionable insights. You will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in data analytics, SQL, and advanced analytics, including AI/ML, to enable data-driven decision-making and ensure that data becomes a strategic asset within the company.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Proficiently lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly skilled Data Analysts, ensuring their professional growth and success.
• Cultivate a collaborative and innovative work environment that fosters creativity, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning, driving the team's development.

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Collaborate with various business teams to understand their data needs and provide guidance on leveraging data for decision-making.
• Utilize advanced SQL expertise to analyze data in the Data Warehouse.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to extract valuable insights, identify trends, and present findings.

Storytelling with Data:

• Translate complex data insights into clear, concise, and actionable reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Craft narratives that convey the significance of data-driven findings, making complex information accessible to all stakeholders.

Advanced Analytics and AI/ML:

• • Leverage advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and artificial intelligence, to develop predictive, prescriptive, and classification models.
  • Implement AI/ML solutions to automate and enhance decision-making processes.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in BI & Analytics including managing a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Looker
• Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Expertise in SQL and Data Warehousing
• Consulting experience welcomed
