The Role

    • As our Sr Marketing Analyst you will join Bitly as an experienced data driven analyst that is accountable to reporting on overall marketing results and revenue impact. You understand marketing, especially in a product led environment and strive for strong data accuracy and tying marketing impact to revenue. You are naturally curious with data and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig in so that we can identify trends and insights that others may not see. 

    • This role has the unique opportunity to join Bitly at an exciting time as the first dedicated analyst within marketing. You will create and own all marketing reports and dashboards and will be a significant influencer around helping determine business decisions based on your analysis and insights. You aren’t afraid to challenge the team based on performance trends and are excited to help the team continuously improve outputs and performance.

What You'll Do

    • Defines and owns marketing analytics at Bitly. Includes both identifying and overseeing execution of top priorities, evaluating metrics, and reporting outcomes around the revenue impact of our channels and campaigns
    • Create and maintain reports including weekly and monthly numbers that track marketing activities, ROAS, channel effectiveness, and ROI to uncover insights and recommendations on areas for optimization
    • Partner closely with the marketing acquisition, FP&A, and sales teams to build and define our annual goals, trends, and forecasts across all channels
    • Partner with cross functional teams to define the marketing dashboards, health metrics and key performance indicators for marketing
    • Oversee, analyze and optimize marketing dashboards to relay trends, insights, and performance across the organization in partnership with our data team
    • Support creation of board presentations, including monthly and quarterly business performance reports for marketing
    • Present data driven insights and recommendations to the team 

Who You Are

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
    • Experience with Amazon AWS
    • Experience with BI tools specifically Looker
    • Proficient with marketing analytics metrics and tools like Hubspot, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, Optimizely 
    • SaaS experience is a big advantage for this role 
    • Familiar with data challenges and adept at overcoming them 
    • Excited about discovering and delivering insights to the marketing team that will drive growth and increased rate of adoption 
    • Prior experience working with or within marketing teams a plus
    • Analytical, evidence-based, able to understand and utilize data from multiple sources to formulate reports and presentations that communicate marketing insights
    • Deep understanding of demand generation, revenue attribution, and customer lifecycle
    • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in marketing measurement and reporting 
    • Demonstrated expertise in defining, implementing and maintaining reports and analytics to track lead flow, conversion revenue attribution and related KPIs.
    • Critical thinker, you don’t take directives at face value, you consider the task at hand, offering constructive feedback to improve processes
    • Collaborative and friendly, and comfortable working in a global remote environment
