• Work with key stakeholders to understand their needs and articulate a vision for an internal data platform that serves those needs
• Develop a long term strategy for executive dashboards as well as self-service reporting layers that answer key business questions
• Integrate various sources of data into a holistic data foundation upon which business insights can be built
• Lead a team of engineers as well as analysts to ideate on and build data pipelines and warehouses that bring the vision and strategy to reality
• Be a thought partner with senior leadership in Product, Engineering, GoToMarket, Sales, and Finance to look ahead multiple quarters and guide the direction of the Data teams to address not just current but also anticipate future needs
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and grow a talented team of data engineers, BI analysts, and data modelers

Who You Are

• You are a seasoned leader with a demonstrated track record of articulating Data strategy and building strong cross-functional teams and relationships.
• Ideally you have worked at or at working at a company with over $100MM in annual revenue.
• You are curious and are eager to explore various perspectives and slices of looking at data to uncover key business insights.
• You are able to strike the balance between executing on a roadmap with predictability as well as handle ongoing/ad-hoc requests needed to drive time-sensitive business decisions.
• You are a good people manager who can inspire teams and marshal them towards a vision and execute on it.
• You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills.
• You are familiar with relevant tools and technologies in Data, Analytics, and Business Intelligence and have the drive to stay up-to-date with ongoing changes and advancements
• You have an agile mindset and are responsive to immediate business needs and balance them with the long term vision
• Prior experience in a SaaS business and familiarity with conversion, churn, MRR, and ARR
• Prior experience in a global company with more than one line of business
