The Position

Kick-start your career at GameChanger! Serving youth sports communities, our app is used to score and live stream millions of games each year. Join us for a 2022 fall internship where you can have an impact and grow your skills for the road that lies ahead.

What You Can Expect

• Develop and automate a foundational end-to-end testing framework.
• Learn how to plan and scope technical requirements for engineering projects.
• Learn how to contribute to a CI-driven, scaled engineering organization.
• Collaborate with a data-driven team: engineers, analysts, and scientists.
• Mentorship from other GC engineers to guide you through the experience.

What We’re Looking For In You

• Interest and ability to learn new programming languages & tools.
• Organized, curious, and proactive team player who is results-oriented.
• Great communicator and enthusiastic about using technology to enhance people’s lives.
• Big plus if you have experience developing in Python and/or Typescript.

What’s In It For You

• 10-12 weeks of experience working with a real data team that handles large volumes of data.
• $40 per hour pay for your contributions.
• Hands-on learning with a modern data stack & architecture.
• Working remotely, and enjoying your summer from wherever you choose to in the country.
• Building industry connections with intern peers & GC employees, and a trip to NYC to our main office (assuming it is safe to do so).
• MacBooks provided for the duration of the internship by GC.
• Building things that get used. No time will be wasted on pet projects that never see the light of day.
