The Position:

As a Senior Data Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the best-possible decisions across the company. You’ll lead a hybrid (embedded / centralized) team of data analysts and data scientists as they help teams decide what to build and then measure what works. Your team’s responsibilities will include metrics management, proactive insight discovery, empowering data usage, and enabling experimentation. Reporting to the Director of Data + Analytics, you’ll work closely with the data engineering team as well as cross-functional teams - including product management, engineering, marketing, finance, and senior leadership - to drive the best outcomes and grow the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and provide leadership to a team of data analysts and data scientists

  • Strengthen and expand our data culture, where everyone is empowered (and expected!) to use data to solve problems

  • Demonstrate and coach strategic thinking within the team, ensuring that everyone is always focused on the highest-impact work

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data governance standards and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency

  • Partner with teams across the organization to understand their data needs and empower them to understand the impact of their work

  • Drive a culture of experimentation by ensuring we have the correct tools and training to accelerate our learning

  • Scale the analytics practice at GameChanger, ensuring we’re always using the right tools and processes

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading a data team, preferably within a consumer subscription company. 7+ years in the analytics space.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate others

  • Hands-on with SQL and Python or R

  • Deep understanding of data analytics, warehouse data modeling, statistical techniques, experimentation, and causal inference

  • Experience working in a modern data stack using engineering development processes

  • Excellent communication in writing and in person, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Deep knowledge of consumer subscription business metrics and experience driving organizational alignment around KPIs

  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities

The target salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $200,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
