The Position:

As a Senior Strategy & Operations Analyst at GameChanger, you will be a vital analytical resource for the entire company, starting with the senior leadership team. You will play a key role in driving company-wide strategy and implementing operational processes to execute on that strategy. Your work will focus on market research, insights creation, complex problem-solving, and you will have the opportunity to grow within an environment that values innovation and excellence. There is a preference for this role to be located in New York, though we are open to remote candidates. This role reports to our President’s Chief of Staff.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze complex business challenges, collaborating with members of various teams to formulate hypotheses-driven analyses and strategic recommendations.

  • Research current market trends, competitors, and provide insights to drive data-informed decisions.

  • Play a significant role in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on research, due diligence, and support.

  • Work closely with finance, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of company strategies.

  • Develop and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, conveying key takeaways clearly and effectively.

  • Lead and contribute to initiatives that drive change and continuous improvement, leveraging innovation to execute on strategy and enhance client service across GameChanger.

  • Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities to drive strategy and operational efficiency within GameChanger.

  • Implement processes aligned with organizational objectives by utilizing methodologies like OKRs, translating strategic goals into actionable plans.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2 years’ plus experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or at a tech startup 

  • Experience in crafting presentations and reports tailored for senior leadership and executive audiences

  • Solid quantitative ability and structured thinking, with relevant experience 

  • Strong project planning and time management; ability to work with limited supervision on assigned workstreams 

  • Background in youth sports, sports tech, or consumer subscription businesses is preferred but not required

  • You possess the ability to articulate and defend your opinions, utilizing logical reasoning and objective evidence to support your viewpoints.

  • You have the ability to apply strategy to operational processes, with experience in implementing frameworks like OKRs to align organizational goals and drive execution.

  • You're able to shift priorities and maintain focus in a dynamic environment, always keeping alignment with overall company objectives.

The target salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $145,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
