THE ROLE 
 
We are looking to add a Marketing Analyst to our Member Marketing org. As an internal part of this team, you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing key programs and supporting the group to make strategic recommendations based on data insights.  Thrive Market ranked #1 in the Sailthru ranking of e-commerce companies that provide a highly personalized user experience to members in 2022.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop dashboards, visualizations and granular datasets that provide actionable insights on customer behavior, customer response rate, customer frequency rate, etc
    • Provide frequent analysis and insights on Thrive Owned communication channels and touchpoints (Onsite, Email, push, in-app, SMS, and other digital non-paid mediums)
    • Identify different customer profiles, and carry out the optimization of CRM/marketing activities by defining market sectors and customer selection based on customer profiling and segmentation 
    • Analyze CRM (email, push, SMS) performance at a granular level to uncover insights that will inform campaign strategy and execution moving forward
    • Work closely with Marketing Channel Owners and individual Marketers to deliver on campaign success metrics
    • Partner with the Product & Data team to generate data insights for customer strategy, acquisition efficiency, customer value development and  brand engagement
    • Break down ambiguous problems by defining key success criteria, and developing data-driven and prioritized roadmaps to deliver results 
    • Develop a deep understanding of user behavior patterns and insights and correlate engagement metrics with conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and financial performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4+ years of experience as a Marketing Analyst, or related field
    • Strong proficiency in SQL
    • Experience in E-commerce and/or subscription businesses
    • ​​Experience on customer journey analysis across online and offline channels and touch-points especially with the consolidation of customer contact history by channels
    • BS or MS in a Technical Degree or awesome experience that highlights your ability to geek out on reporting & analytics
    • Passion for turning data into insights and helping others unlock the power of their data
    • Experience working with Digital Marketing teams, such as those that manage email and mobile marketing
    • Experience in Loyalty and reward program effectiveness a plus
    • Good leadership skills with a positive attitude and a proactive / self-starter mindset
    • Be a team player with character, high humility and integrity, helping build a healthy team environment
    • Proven ability to clearly articulate data stories to business and technical audiences
    • Proficiency and solid foundation in statistics
    • Proficiency at web analytics tools including Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel
    • Proficiency at business intelligence dash-boarding tools like Tableau, Looker, Domo or similar
    • Experience in at least one high level programming language like Python or R
    • Strong understanding of online advertising, A/B testing, cohort analysis, conversion optimization, customer segmentation, etc
