Join us as a Manager of Marketing Attribution and Experimentation within our thriving Marketing Analytics team, where you'll unleash the power of data to fuel innovation and drive insights that inform our media mix and marketing spend strategy. You'll be a people manager and trusted partner of a skilled peer group; playing a pivotal role in finding viable solutions to complex analytical challenges that fortify our marketing and acquisition strategies. This role isn't just about data; it's about driving innovation and making a tangible impact. 

Here, you’ll have a combination of IC and management responsibilities owning our marketing experimentation and attribution roadmap using an advanced advertising and martech stack. Your team will be responsible for evolving our ability to measure the impact of our marketing channels. What You'll Do: 

  • Own the marketing experimentation and attribution roadmap with a focus on improving marketing measurement, unlocking growth, and optimizing our multi-million dollar marketing budget
  • Evolve our marketing measurement strategy to determine impact of marketing spend
  • Lead A/B experiments from the Analytics side by supporting experiment design, tracking, and implementation; with ownership over the final analysis
  • Manage a team of 1-3 analysts within your first year at ezCater and advance the innovation of our analytics techniques, approaches, and processes
  • Leverage statistical methodologies (causal impact, traffic spike analysis, halo analysis, time series, synthetic control, etc.) to measure the effectiveness of media dollars in market
  • Partner closely with the Growth Marketing team, Finance and our multi-touch attribution vendor on measurement of marketing campaigns to inform our media mix and marketing investment decisions
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and participate in important company planning
  • Oversee, create, and evolve channel/campaign reporting in Tableau and other data visualization tools to ensure business partners are empowered to make data-driven decisions with a positive impact on KPIs
  • Partner closely with Analytics peers and teams like Data Engineering and Data Science to develop analysis, models, experiments, and reports that identify new growth opportunities and provide insights into business performance

What You Have

  • 5+ years experience in a relevant field, such as analytics or data science, performing quantitative and technical analysis, ideally with experience in marketing or e-commerce environments
  • 2+ years experience managing direct reports. Proven success creating team roadmaps, prioritizing and structuring work within team’s scope, and helping analysts build skills through instruction and coaching
  • Experience with different marketing attribution methodologies (including multi-touch attribution) and calculating return on ad spend
  • Experience designing, tracking and implementing A/B tests (marketing platform & geo-testing experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in SQL is a must. Proficiency in statistical programming languages (R or Python) and common data science approaches (e.g. Causal Impact, Logistic Regression, Markov Model, etc) is a plus
  • Experience analyzing the success of various marketing tactics, including brand awareness and digital channels such as Radio, TV, Direct Mail, SEM/SEO, Display, etc.
  • Knowledge of modern data exploration and visualization tools like Snowflake, Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio, or PowerBI, and proficiency in Google Analytics or similar digital analytics platforms
  • Effective communication skills to convey data insights across different audiences
  • Independent worker with cross-functional collaboration ability and adeptness in presenting insights to stakeholders
  • Strong organization skills, time management skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask

The national cash compensation range for this role is $129,000-$162,000*
