In this role you'll play a critical role in leveraging our data assets and tools to uncover strategic level insights working directly with executives and leaders. You'll leverage data throughout the customer lifecycle to find proactive growth opportunities with the highest ROI and dive deep to research trends and forces impacting ClickUp. This role is for the principal or director level analytics professional looking to be hands on with a high quality data warehouse to uncover different dynamic insights each week to help teams be more efficient and make smarter decisions.

The Role
  • Turn loosely defined (executive requests) problems into practical analyses
  • You will partner cross-functionally with leaders from Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Growth, and Sales teams to deliver data driven analyses to support strategic decision making
  • Extract meaningful insights from subscription, product, and user behavioral data which will help executives better understand customer behavior and trends
  • Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers
  • Promote a data-centric culture and be an internal champion for analytics and data literacy throughout ClickUp
  • Data Stack: Amplitude, Segment, DBT, Hex, Tableau, AWS, Snowflake, SQL
  • Mentoring other data team members on insights and data/analytics best practices
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, 4+ years at a SaaS company working across multiple departments/datasets
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics
  • A demonstrated self-starter and incredible prioritizer who moves fast and can take ownership of projects and drive them to completion without much guidance
  • High degree of experience translating broad questions into structured analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to distill complex analytical solutions into actionable insights
  • A strong understanding of software business principles and metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehouse principles
  • Experience working with BI tools (Hex, Tableau, Looker, QuickSight)
  • Experience with best-in-class product and web analytics tech stacks, including Amplitude, Google Analytics, and Segment (or similar tools)
  • Strong understanding of experiment design, data collection and analysis
Desirable:
  • Consumer and SaaS product analytics experience
  • Technical competence to perform advanced analytics using Python
  • Demonstrated competence with statistics and incremental impact analysis
