Position Summary: (Remote Position)
As part of the Pearson Online and Blended Learning Family Analytics team you’ll be tasked with an exciting opportunity to show off your skills within a growing Analytics team. You will be able jump into the current data transformation project and will have expert experience with all big-tech data management tools. You will have advanced experience with SQL, R, and Python to cut and join data from multiple sources and provide actionable insights to the business. This candidate will have experience with Tableau and other data viz tools where they can develop, scale and distribute KPIs and metric reporting that supports the business across various channels. You will empower forward thinking within the organization by providing data sets that think outside the box and offer new ways to look at the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Help lead Digital Analytics transformation to a full-stack single source of truth and eventually a CDP
Assist with the execution of a short-term and long-term data platform including rolling your sleeves up to lean into the backend of where current data sets reside
Create new automated reporting that provides actionable insights to business stakeholders across the business
Champion a test and learn approach to data informed decisions for all channel owners
Assist in the orchestrating of data feeds that will be landed into a centralized data platform
Handle project-oriented responsibilities and on-going process improvement initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Requirements:
5 years of relevant work experience in big-tech digital data management including but not limited to: digital analytics, KPI development, data clustering, ETLs, data structuring best practices in addition to creating master data tables and rollup tables
Hands-on experience with Big Query (preferred), Snowflake/Red Shift, Air Flow/Spark, or comparable big-tech data tools
Previous experience with Tableau Desktop/Server with the ability to develop deeply insightful dashboards from connecting data for extraction
Extensive experience with SQL, R, Python and other mainstream programming languages, in addition to Data Bricks and/or GitHub tool sets
Comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-based environment with the ability to handle multiple projects
A self-starter with a strong work ethic, who can work independently, or as a member of a team
Experience landing large data sets from multiple desperate sources to a single source of truth via ETLs and data architecture
Willingness to learn new technology with ability to deal with and manage through ambiguity
Ability to derive deep insights from data analysis for business stakeholders to empower data informed decisions and the willingness to take on new challenges
Must thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
