Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Data Scientist, AI to join our Data team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the Role:

As a Senior Data Scientist, AI, you will partner closely with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop workflows and insights that make it easy for teams across Oscar to leverage AI. You will leverage LLMs and other advanced AI models to automate and augment existing time-consuming or error-prone workflows. Example applications include summarizing calls from members, extracting structured data from contracts and medical charts, and helping users navigate our provider directory. This work will lead to improved member experience, increased efficiency and lower costs for our members.

You will report into a Director of Data Science.
