Data is our most valuable asset at Spring Health. We’re building out our Business Intelligence team to ensure we can effectively use all of that data to eliminate every barrier to mental health more quickly and completely. In this role you will become a trusted partner to our internal teams, working to enable them to confidently access, understand, and use the data they need to make the right decisions about our business, products, and processes.

What you’ll be doing:

    • Act as a partner with internal teams (finance, operations, etc) to proactively translate their data questions into actionable dashboards that drive teams’ decisions and behavior
    • Develop a deep understanding of our products and operations, and how they tie into Spring Health’s business context
    • Develop predictive models for both business and clinical applications, helping the teams understand how decisions we make now may impact the future
    • Contribute to the team’s overall Looker strategy, improving our design for how we organize the models and views of our data
    • Collaborate with the BI and data engineering teams to implement the Looker design we develop
    • Prioritize inbound requests from multiple teams, using business context and collaboration with stakeholders to determine the order in which to approach problems
    • Collaborating with teams to understand our business, help craft KPIs and then create reports to measure them

What we expect from you:

    • You are passionate about changing the face of mental health care and Spring Health’s mission to remove all barriers to mental health resonates with you
    • You have 5+ years of working experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools
    • You have strong user empathy - you can deeply understand the core issues stakeholders are having and translate them into solutions that meaningfully improve their ability to operate
    • You are an expert in advanced SQL, and (bonus) are comfortable optimizing queries to reduce load times
    • You’re comfortable using languages like R or Python to do more advanced data analysis
    • You have experience working with Looker, both creating up the data model and building dashboards
    • You focus on impact, finding the things you can deliver that deliver the most value for your stakeholders
    • You have exceptional communication skills, and are comfortable working independently with executive level team members
    • You are humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments

What we'd love to see (Bonus):

    • You don’t take no for an answer, and enjoy finding work arounds for limitations in data to get stakeholders the answers they need
    • You have experience working with a cloud-based data warehouse to access data (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Table, etc)
    • You have experience using any of the following data: EMR, clinical trials, claims data
    • You have operated in a role that required interaction with customers
