Are you passionate about data?  The Marketing team at ezCater serves hundreds of thousands of professionals feeding their teams with our platform - with data at the heart of decision making and strategic growth. We are looking for an ambitious, data-focused performance marketer to join our team. 

At ezCater, Marketing Analysts are critical to driving experimentation, modeling customer behavior and building frameworks to support both customer experience and the growth of our business. This role reports to the Manager of Marketing Analytics and is embedded within Marketing: you will work alongside the VPs, Directors and Senior Managers of our various Marketing channels to support business strategy and will be responsible for delivering insights that drive, optimize and grow ezCater’s brand.  Our work doesn’t end with a report; but rather lives in our marketing strategy and decision making processes over the long term. 

We currently have 2 Senior Analyst roles open on the team: one will be focused on Performance Marketing Channels (SEM, SEO, Display, other direct response channels) and the other focused on Brand Marketing Channels (TV, Radio, OOH, Video, etc.)

What you'll do:

    • Partner closely with Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to develop and refine reporting, insights, targeting, and experimentation across our SEO/SEM, Display, Social Media, TV, Radio, OOH, Email, and Direct Mail campaigns.
    • Be a leader on a growing analytics team that is committed to the evolution of our data and insights.
    • Participate in the design, execution, and analysis of media and web A/B/n and Multivariate experiments with a specific focus on deriving actionable insights from experimental activities.
    • Serve as an expert on overall performance and strategy; answering analytical questions and running regular meetings with senior stakeholders.
    • Deliver data and analyses to stakeholders across the Marketing department that lead to actionable insights to support and drive strategic and tactical data-driven decision making.
    • Measure the payback and performance of marketing campaigns on leading and lagging indicator success metrics through techniques like regression modeling, causal impact analysis, marginal curves and other statistical methods.
    • Identify opportunity areas for new marketing campaigns and improve marketing efficiencies through campaign and customer value analysis.
    • Create and evolve channel performance reporting capabilities to support Marketing team and broader organization by providing access and transparency to critical data.

What you have:

    • 4-6 years experience as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, management consulting, startup/tech, agency, and/or strategy roles with a heavy analytical emphasis.
    • Proficient in advanced analytical techniques: utilizing SQL to synthesize data into complex models and running causal impact analysis, ROI models, bidding algorithms, customer segmentation modeling, response rate modeling, marginal cost curves, survival curves and retention analysis, etc.
    • Proficient in SQL and Excel modeling required. R, Python, or other statistical programming languages is a major plus. Experience with Tableau is preferred.
    • Experience aligning and operating across multiple attribution modeling methods (e.g. multi-touch and Marketing Mix Modeling).
    • Proficient in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and the Google environments.
    • Experience measuring and optimizing marketing campaigns, with specific experience leveraging advanced audience targeting methodologies.
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data sets, with a proven track record of driving outcomes through insights.
    • Experience working with campaign data across multiple platforms Google/DSPs/ESPs/Social UIs in combination with cloud data warehouse.
    • A sharp mind, a soft heart and a large funny bone.
The national cash compensation range for this role is $84,000 - $103,000* per year.
