Data and analytics are critical to our future growth at ezCater. As a Senior Technical Analyst, Product Analytics, you will be a key individual contributor on our product analytics team, leveraging our rich data asset to identify and drive new growth opportunities, all while partnering closely with other Data/Analytics, Product Management, and Engineering colleagues.  The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker, able to tackle complex analytical challenges, and comfortable working across a broad array of advanced analytics techniques while being a trusted partner to a talented, collaborative peer group. You’ll regularly architect solutions for our most complex and ambiguous analytics challenges, providing data-driven insights and solutions

What You'll Do: 

  • Proactively generate insights on customer behavior and use of our products, to understand trends and relationships in product and business metrics while highlighting potential growth opportunities for the business.
  • Develop scalable analytic processes, methods, and self-service tools to ensure other analysts and partners are empowered to make data-driven decisions with a positive impact on success metrics
  • Be a champion and subject matter expert for data, analytics, and testing for your domain.
  • Partner with senior leaders across the company to answer complex business problems including leveraging deep-dive advanced statistical and Data Science analysis  (e.g., clustering models, classification, etc)
  • Explain customer behavior through data-driven analysis, including a combination of ad hoc analyses, KPI definition & monitoring, dashboard & report building, A/B test experimentation design and analysis, and proactive insight generation and modeling. 
  • Use business analytics approaches and modeling to explain how customer use of product features translates to financial impact as well as conduct scenario planning, modeling, and sensitivity analysis.

What You Have

  • Have 3+ years experience in a relevant field, such as analytics or data science, performing quantitative and technical analysis, ideally with experience in marketplace or e-commerce environments
  • Experience explaining complex analysis to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and translating conclusions into straightforward, actionable business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to ideate and scope execution of analytical needs within their domain area.
  • Experience with experimental test design including A/B testing; experience with multivariate and multi-armed bandit also preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL;  Experience with statistical modeling tools (R, Python) and common data science / ML approaches (e.g. Random Forest, Gradient Boosting and Logistic Regression, etc) also preferred
  • Experience with  conducting quantitative analyses on large, complex data sets using modern data exploration and visualization software (e.g. Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, PowerBI).
  • Experience partnering with business teams on agile model development.
  • Experience in 2-sided marketplaces for both B2C and B2B customers is a plus

The national cash compensation range for this role is $108,000-$136,000 annually.*

*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
