What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an enthusiastic analyst to join our team to help shape and guide the future of Vacasa’s revenue programs. On a daily basis, you will be working with large data sets to better understand the “why” behind the “what”. We want someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and has a curious mind for uncovering and solving problems.

What you’ll do 

  • Forecast performance of new homes
  • Partner with cross-department stakeholders to drive optimization initiatives
  • Identify and manage revenue optimization strategies for portfolios of homes
  • Build custom dashboards and data visualizations
  • Own and maintain data pipelines to support BI initiatives
  • Periodic ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Skills you’ll need

  • 3+ yrs of experience analyzing and manipulating large datasets 
  • MySQL/PostgreSQL or other SQL variation
  • Mastery of excel
  • Proven experience developing visualizations in Looker or other BI Tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to break down findings into actionable items for stakeholder
  • Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MT, NC, NH, NM, NY, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY and operate in PST/MST zone.

  • R or statistical experience
  • Python experience
  • Git/Github experience
