What we're looking for

Due to our substantive growth, we are looking for an HR Analyst to support our employee data and reporting needs. This position will report into the Head of Employee Experience and support our compliance, analytical & ad-hoc reporting needs. The ideal applicant will have an analytical mindset, the ability to manage confidential data and be able to communicate high level ideas to both management and operations employees. This HR Analyst will help complete special reporting projects by helping the team clarify project objectives, resolve concerns as they arise and communicate the reporting results as they apply to business needs. The right candidate will be fanatical about data accuracy, present data in a manner that immediately elicits stakeholder trust and will love the challenge of solving complex reporting needs with disparate data resources.

What you'll do

  • Not only find answers, but define the questions and make business recommendations
  • Successfully manage multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines
  • Work effectively with all employees at all levels of the organization
  • Communicate effectively, including writing/developing processes, procedures and business recommendations
  • Conduct presentations to groups
  • Support Employee Experience function on complex data-driven business case development
  • Fulfill regular and ad hoc requests for employee data reporting to stakeholders across the business
  • Manage all worksite, EEO-1, and BLS reporting requirements
  • Analyze and manipulate existing data within HR Systems
  • Assist the HRIS Lead with data auditing and cleanup
  • Contribute to improving and maintaining data integrity within HR Systems
  • Be passionate and eager to solve problems
  • Other duties, as assigned

Skills you'll need

  • 3-4 years of analysis experience pulling data from HRIS & BI platforms - knowledge of Ultipro and Looker a plus!
  • BS degree and/or the equivalent in training and experience
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets; providing reporting; and driving actionable business change via analysis, reporting and strategic recommendations
  • Demonstrated success defining KPIs from raw data sources and within the context of the business and creating dashboards for stakeholder visibility
  • Demonstrated ability to define and refine forecasts based on historical datasets
  • Familiarity supporting HR functions and initiatives, proven ability to work with confidential information
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel including use of vlookup, conditional formatting, pivot tables & graphs
  • Proficiency in G-Suite
  • SQL and Business Intelligence experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to break down technical ideas/topics
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in an ever-changing environment
  • Willingness to analyze problems, identify alternate solutions, and act on recommendations to reach a desired result
  • Capable of working independently with limited supervision, with the willingness to exercise independent judgement within the established systems and procedures
