THE ROLE
As the Data Analyst for Policy Planning and Strategy team, you'll be responsible for collating and operationalizing reports to provide business insight on system, events, and opportunities to improve across the business. The Data Analyst will play a key role by capturing, processing, and transforming multiple datasets into clear summaries to fuel data-driven decision making and solutions. You’ll also partner closely with all teams within the Trust and Security organization to help with data models to visualize, validate, and support OKRs, strategy, and execution.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Develop and launch executive reporting framework and dashboard to support the Trust and Security Team at Live Nation.

  • Broaden internal access to live data through development of dynamic reporting and visualization solutions.

  • Assist in exploratory analysis to support thought leadership and decision making.

  • Show initiative to solve business problems using modern data analysis techniques.

  • Provide feedback regarding data consolidation, validation, and sourcing to data owners.

  • Develop and maintain Trust and Security calendar of activities including training and development dates, conference dates and attendees, leadership activities, all-hands and other supporting programs and documentation as necessary.

  • Ad-hoc Data Analysis Projects to evaluate emerging trends and hypothesis.

  • Ongoing self-directed analysis to uncover data trends and system usage patterns.

  • Drive continuous improvements to our products, tools, and processes by sharing learnings, constructive feedback, and input with internal technical and analytics teams.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 2+ years’ experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or similar roles

  • Ability to work in a decentralized organization

  • Strong experience with synthesizing & summarizing large data sets into trends to drive strategic business decisions & hypothesis evaluations

  • Proficiency in SQL syntax and queries (Python / R preferred)

  • Ability to code complex SQL queries preferred

  • Experience with analytical techniques and the ability to apply them to business solutions

  • Experience with Incident and change management

  • Able to adapt quickly in a global, fast-paced environment of changing priorities

  • Passionate and motivated, resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking

  • Excellent pattern recognition, and a general curiosity to uncover trends & evaluate data anomalies

  • Experience in working with unstructured data spanning multiple disparate sources preferred

  • Focused on quality & attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to summarize complex analysis into executive updates

  • Ability to work with autonomy while ensuring that new knowledge is shared with technology & analytics teams

  • Committed and able to adapt quickly

The expected compensation for this position in California is:

$66,000.00 USD - $83,000.00 USD

The expected compensation for this position in Colorado is:

$66,000.00 USD - $83,000.00 USD
