What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assisting in enabling reproducible research, designing and building data and machine learning pipelines to improve our business metrics while being constrained by tight deadlines
• Working with a team of data engineers to help transform complex data into meaningful data products and analytics in a digestible format
• Help take ML models to production by implementing inference engines.
• Using Statistics and Data Science to collaborate with cross functional teams and provide data-driven solutions across the organization
• Help bake in model metadata and model management capabilities into the systems

You will thrive if you:

• Are an upper year student with a few co-op terms completed
• Are comfortable with databases (postgresql, mongodb), software development tools like git and python (or other scripting languages) and associated libraries (pandas, requests).
• Are experienced with developing on a cloud platform (GCP, AWS or Azure) or Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Have exposure to data pipeline frameworks (Argo, Kubeflow, Airflow) that are used for production, training or analytical workloads
• Are familiar with basic statistics.
• You have working knowledge about event driven systems as well as RESTful systems.
• You are familiar with batch and on demand workloads and design considerations around them.
