Our core product, a merchant cash advance, is positioned as a tailor-made, fast, and affordable option for eCommerce entrepreneurs looking to scale their companies. 

We offer funding up to $10M for a flat fee of 6-12.5%, recouped through a revenue share model. In addition to other financial solutions, we also provide founders with data-driven insights to understand their current position amongst their competitors and utilize their capital in a growth-optimized manner.

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be required to analyze complex datasets, answer business questions, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. you will perform deep and thorough data analysis in order to deliver accurate, actionable reports, metrics and insights.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Creating reporting and tracking metrics to help measure the health of the business and how that trickles down to individual business units
  • Translating business needs into reporting deliverables
  • Communicating essential insights to stakeholders in a manner that productively influences decision making
  • Partnering with the Marketing team to support design, execution and analysis of experiments across a variety of channels (paid ads, email and website)
  • Assisting with experimental design and the interpretation of the results 
  • Evangelizing data expertise, best practices, and documentation for all analytical data needs
  • Understanding key business drivers to help inform strategic decisions
  • Working cross functionally with the marketing, rev-ops, and data teams to coordinate efforts and understand sales impact
  • Using SQL, Snowflake, Looker, and eventually picking up dbt, git, and other tools in our data stack to create insightful reporting and dashboards

  • Are able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Are comfortable pushing back against internal stakeholders
  • Have strong attention to detail in code, assumptions, data analysis, and precision in the objective
  • Are excited to help the rest of the organization make better decisions

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience in writing SQL
  • Experience using data visualization software such as Looker, Mode, Periscope, Tableau etc.
  • Good understanding of statistics
  • B2B / B2C marketing experience is an asset
  • Experience with marketing analytics is an asset
