THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Growth Analytics, who is passionate about using insights, data visualization and data science to drive customer-centric growth. Reporting to the SVP of Data & Analytics, you will build and lead a Growth Analytics team in establishing strategy and organizational discipline to enable data-driven growth roadmap.

Your team will define, analyze and leverage 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data to help optimize investments and will proactively identify growth drivers and opportunities for improvement in targeting, messaging, attribution, segmentation and personalization across all marketing channels. You will lead design, development and implementation of analytical products, research projects and agile data-informed experimentation framework to help enhance our ability to attract new customers and turn them into loyal subscribers and raving AG fans.

In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will use advanced analytical, data science and research techniques, to inform and guide initiatives across all growth areas, including multi-channel marketing, advertising, partnerships, product and customer experience.

This leadership role is at an exciting intersection of business, technology and data. It requires a deep understanding of performance marketing, marketing technology, business processes, product and consumer trends, data architecture and data engineering development framework, as well as strong communication and advanced analytical, data visualization and data storytelling skills. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Growth Analytic Roadmap:

  • Lead growth analytics team in delivering insights to further optimize growth strategy, improve targeting approach and define marketing measurement roadmap.
  • Own the evolution of marketing attribution including developing testing strategies to determine incrementality, media mix and cross-channel capital allocation and optimize campaigns.
  • Develop growth analytics roadmap with key milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide guidance for martech and adtech roadmap development, including tool selection and integration strategies, oversee data and analytics enablement.
  • Help develop an agile experimentation framework and provide recommendations for testing design, implementation and measurement.
  • Develop customer cohorts, personas, and segmentation to enable personalization.
  • Define analytical roadmap to support consumer and market research projects.
  • Help design and implement Marketing Intelligence Platform across all channels and touchpoints.

Insights:

  • Collaborate with business partners to help define data and analytics requirements.
  • Design and conduct analytical projects and oversee implementation of analytical solutions, and translate results into actionable insights.
  • Oversee implementation of customer segmentation, growth channel performance measurement, attribution, ROI and LTV.
  • Develop scenarios and analytical solutions to help channel owners analyze trade-offs in decision making.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to implement and integrate predictive models into various stages of marketing funnels.
  • Design and oversee the development and implementation of multi-touch attribution, acquisition channel optimization, demand forecasting, LTV, contribution margin, retention and other models as necessary to support growth strategy and tactics.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of growth KPI dashboards and reporting.
  • Extract actionable insights from the available first and third party data to identify new opportunities.
  • Monitor key growth and performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide analytical support for campaign management, including targeting and evaluation.
  • Serve as a growth data and analytics SME and a champion for governed and secure use of data.

Leadership:

  • Design and build a high performing growth analytics team
  • Attract and develop talent, coach and mentor junior staff, set performance and development goals
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization and instill collaborative culture on the team
  • Provide thought leadership on use of analytics in support of important business decisions.
  • Continuously expand team’s skills, provide guidance on latest consumer and market trends, marketing and advertising technology, and latest analytical methods.
  • Instill an inclusive team culture that is collaborative, passionate and data-driven.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 15+ years of related experience (5+ years in leadership roles) in digital and marketing analytics, martech, data science, BI or data insights roles, preferably in DTC and e-commerce companies
  • Hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data in cloud-based environments, including BigQuery, Snowflake, RedShift, other.
  • Experience developing and implementing predictive and other models, utilizing data science/ML/AI and advanced statistical techniques and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and ad technologies and controlled experimentation methods.
  • Advanced data visualization skills and hands-on experience with Tableau, PowerBI or other BI tools.
  • Strong digital analytics skills and advanced knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation and product, UX/UI research methodologies.
  • Experience with consumer and market research methods, including survey, focus groups, qualitative and quantitative brand, consumer satisfaction, experience and other studies.
  • Experience with B2C acquisition and subscription marketing concepts and metrics, including customer journeys, conversion funnels and KPIs (e.g. CAC, payback, retention rate, etc.).
  • Background working with marketing, CRM, social and ad platforms, such as Salesforce, NetSuite CRM, Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and others.
  • Experience with partnership and affiliate marketing.
  • Understanding of data architecture, data engineering techniques and processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex data and analytics concepts and results in clear, concise, and accurate ways at an executive level.
  • Ability to solve problems and thrive in a fast-paced evolving environment.
  • Prior people management and personnel development experience (2+ years).
