THE ROLE:

AG is looking for a talented Sr Director, Growth Analytics who will serve as a critical member of our Growth team. You will be joining a data dependent company that will value and appreciate the work that you and your team will do. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of growth strategies through data analysis and experimentation. You will lead a growing and maturing Analytics team. Your team will be responsible for creating data visualizations that enable our marketing teams to manage our significant spend, as well as providing analytical insights that drive tangible business results. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing analytics in a subscription business, product analytics, experimentation methods, have strong business acumen and sense and will be able to work cross-functionally to drive growth initiatives.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy, maturity plan and program plan to support AG's overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Coach and develop an analytic team members to ensure the team meets commitments and needs of our growing and evolving company.
  • Lead a team of analysts to drive analytics initiatives and provide insights to support decision-making across the marketing organization.
  • Consistently communicate the impact that you and your team make on the business and ensure that your team communicates clearly on their outputs to their business partners.
  • Partner with the data engineering team to develop a data platform that enables efficiencies and accuracy across the analytics team.
  • Lead the maturity of experimentation and a/b testing capabilities and efforts to identify growth opportunities and test hypotheses to improve business outcomes.
  • Mature the analytic team’s project management processes to ensure larger initiatives are well communicated, delivered on time, and meet quality expectations.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to ensure their marketing dashboards and reporting needs are met.
  • Provide insights and visualization recommendations to the analytics and marketing leadership team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to evolve marketing campaign KPIs, and report on campaign performance to provide insights for optimization and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead data strategy programs across the data teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness and evolve and support the development of customer segmentation models to drive personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Proactively develop evolutions to our LTV & customer retention reporting and analysis. Partner with executives and marketing to ensure the company understands the health of the customers they are acquiring.
  • Lead the development of attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling to evaluate the impact of marketing initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, and recommend new data sources and analytics tools to improve our analytics capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the executive team, to communicate insights and recommendations that drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the product team to develop data-driven insights that inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, and maintain data governance policies and procedures.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on digital marketing and e-commerce.
  • 5+ years experience in a subscription business in CPG, SaaS or consumer digital product.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams of analysts.
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics tools and technologies, including attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, customer segmentation, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data simply and compellingly.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop data-driven insights that inform business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools, such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Expertise in work management frameworks and coaching a team in their ability to scope, commit and deliver.
  • Proven experience identifying opportunities for improvement, defining a maturity plan, and executing that plan across the team and the company.

AG is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $185,000 - $245,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
