What you will do:

• Define, design, develop, and support a suite of tools that enables our data engineers to create first-class data products. Some of the areas you’ll work in include pipeline infrastructure, data quality monitoring, diagnostics, and predictive analytics.
• Building a framework on top of an existing data platform to enable rapid development and integration of kick-ass data and analytics solutions
• Collaborate closely with global Architecture, Data Engineering, and Data Platform teams to deliver business value through highly performant, easy-to-use software solutions.
• Explore trends and new technologies in the data space, participate in user communities, and share what you learn with your teammates

Your Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years work experience as a software engineer in a team environment, architecting and building structured, scalable, solutions based on established software design patterns, using modern platforms and frameworks.
• Python Proficiency and experience with any object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with API management and test-driven development.
• Experience with CICD practices and tools.

Nice to have:

• Passionate about new technologies. Desire to contribute to the wider technical community through collaboration, coaching, and mentoring of other technologists.
• Infrastructure as Code, Terraform and familiarity with logging/monitoring concepts and solutions
• Familiarity with no-SQL Database Systems (such as Snowflake), Spark or Databricks experience is a plus
