The Data Engineering Group works across all domains including pricing/promotion/personalization, channel platform, core business & customer modeling, manufacturing & supply chain, and Customer Service (CARE), to build thoughtfully architected, performant, scalable, software products using the Vistaprint Data Platform.

What You Will Do:

• Building quality data products in pricing and competitive intelligence sub domain using technologies such as Snowflake, S3, Databricks (Spark), Python, Looker and more.
• Build and support data products with code quality and ownership in mind.
• Work directly with analysts, data scientists, product owners and business experts in a cross functional, agile, software development team
• Integrate data products with Vistaprint’s suite of microservices for use in analytic solutions and customer facing features on our website or marketing channels
• Ownership of data product and participate in code reviews.
• Helping Vistaprint to implement industry leading software development best practices.

Your Qualifications:

• Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Python, Java, Scala etc.
• Solid skills in SQL, Data warehousing concepts & Spark
• Understanding of testing strategies, CI/CD, scheduling and monitoring
• Solid experience building sophisticated ETL data pipelines with scheduling and monitoring (e.g., with DBT, Spark and Airflow) for batch processing and real-time data
• Experience with cloud services in AWS (Preferred), Azure or GCP
• Experience handling large volume data as well as both structured/unstructured data of various quality

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud (preferably AWS)
• Understanding of ML model lifecycle and pipelines
• Experience with (and excitement for) interdisciplinary collaboration
