We are growing our team in Barcelona, Spain. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Senior Data Analyst. This newly crafted position, working with the Global Finance Data Lead, will be assisting and supporting the Finance team with coordination of the strategic business planning process, reporting, consolidation in business performance and analytics globally. This is a key role within Vistaprint that will help craft the future of the business and the overall finance organization.

As a Senior DA, you will be focused on enabling data driven decision making through the development of analytical tools and conducting ad-hoc analysis to formulate hypotheses and recommendations. You will work within the Global Finance Data team, but also specifically as part of the Finance organization. This structure offers the support and access to the analytical resources, tools and techniques that both Finance and Analytics provide.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive the budget, forecast, and financial reporting for Vistaprint Business Lines.
  • Collaborate in a fast paced, agile environment that focuses on delivering value to our customers early and often
  • Immersed within the Finance data you will turn business questions into functional analysis and lead exploratory analyses to uncover insights and find opportunities to improve key metrics and optimize revenue and profit
  • Design, execute, analyze and report out on sophisticated analytics models as well as partner with other analytics leads to advise the development, maintenance, and improvement of tools for analyzing and executing tests
  • Build and maintain standardized reports and dashboards across multiple platforms and data sets to provide accurate data and insight for teams on an ongoing basis
  • Build and package management reports; analyzing and interpreting data and historical trends. Reporting on and delving into findings as needed

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related field, along with shown experience and skills in data analytics using SQL in a multi-channel e-commerce environment
  • A passion and strong orientation for data and technology. You are comfortable with exploratory analysis, statistical techniques, with curiosity and adaptability complemented by a results-oriented personality to drive insights
  • Experience in data analysis (Cohort Analysis, Recency, Frequency, Price Volume Mix), and with the following tools: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Web Analytic tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst or Core-Metrics) desired
  • Proficient in SQL (Python and/or R is a plus), and in data visualization in Tableau or Looker is also a plus
  • Proven experience translating business objectives into quantitative insights and implementing tracking into scalable reporting.
  • Strong communication to enable delivery of technical concepts to non-technical business partners, and collaboration skills, giving and receiving feedback, ability to work in cross functional teams, shared ownership of projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to effectively run and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and initiatives
  • Ability to think outside the box, think creatively about approaching analytical questions
